Counting Down The Hours —
Will: What do I wanna way outta here for? I'm gonna live here the rest of my fuckin' life. We'll be neighbors, have little kids, take 'em to Little League up at Foley Field. Chuckie: Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house, watchin' the Patriots games, workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll fuckin' kill ya. Will: What the fuck you talkin' about? Chuckie: You got somethin' none of us have... Will: Oh, come on! What? Why is it always this? Trailer Review: The Wrestler
The Screengrab —
When I first heard about Darren Aronofsky’s latest, it sounded like an odd mix of director and subject material, though the casting of Mickey Rourke in the title role had me intrigued. But the buzz from the fall festival circuit (it took the top prize in Venice) was pretty deafening, so I’ve been eager to get a peek of it myself. And this trailer certainly doesn’t disappoint. Your best bet is to try and catch The Wrestler which finally opens in four whole theatres this weekend, or Slumdog Millionaire which is finally closing in on a wide release. Are you planning on seeing anything this weekend?
Yes ...

Screaming Blue Reviews —
The Will Smith movie behind the oblique marketing campaign; Mickey Rourke’s comeback; Jim Carrey returns to formula.
It’s difficult to say whether the fall/winter movie season is getting any better, but it’s at least getting more crowded. This week three films open on the heels of major hype, either ...
An Arbitrary Guide To This Weekend’s New Releases
Hollywoodtuna —
The Top Ten actually sees a little healthy competition this weekend, as Jim Carrey and Will Smith go up against each other in a battle for box office supremacy. But whoever wins, Carrey for Yes Man or Smith for Seven Pounds, don’t expect the good feelings to last - five new entries crowd the field starting Christmas Day.
Expect Yes Man to come out on top in the end though, mainly because it’s a comedy, and a high-concept one at that. Personally, my expectations for Jim Carrey movies ...
