I saw this over at Slashfilm yesterday and didn't have a chance to post it then, but it's actually better weekend viewing anyway, because it might take 20 minutes of your time or so.
It's also a really good fit for what we've been doing in awards season already, which is presenting some roundtable interviews about some of last year's best movies featuring 2008's most celebrated talents. I know a lot of people still haven’t had a chance to see Darren Aronofsky’s The Wrestler, but the good news is that Fox Searchlight will be expanding the film to more theatres once again this coming weekend. In the meantime, they are continuing to throw out some interesting little marketing treats such as this five-part roundtable discussion with a number of old school wrestlers who give their thoughts on Mickey Rourke’s performance and the authenticity of the film.
I’m not sure these will convince any non-wrestling fans to check out the flick, but it’s certainly interesting to hear their take on ...
