The Road - Trailer
Sarahnomics —
This is interesting. The Road (the novel by Cormac McCarthey) is a character study, almost meditative in style and pace. I’m sure the film will retain that quality of the Pulitzer Prize winning book, but it’s fascinating to see what studios will do to get audiences into theaters. The Road is NOT the action-horror-thriller this trailer would have you believe. This is one of my most anticipated films of the year, and if you haven’t yet read the book, do it. It’s sad and beautiful and sad and also quite sad.
