The site DarkCampaign.com is an attempt to show fan support for the film and lobby for Academy voters to give the film their consideration. While Warner Bros. has already put up their For Your Consideration site for The Dark Knight, it appears that there are some fans that don’t see that being enough. A few very resourceful fans have started up a movement of sorts in support of the film’s Oscar campaign. They are calling it The Dark Campaign, and they’ve created the above video to help support their cause. Warner Bros. has announced that they are officially re-releasing ‘The Dark Knight’ in theaters and IMAX on January 23rd, 2009. We reported a few months back that this was happening, but an official date wasn’t set.
