Pictures has released the teaser trailer for Robert Rodriguez's new family adventure flick "Shorts" starring Jon Cryer, William H. Macy, Leslie Mann, and James Spader. Film is due to theaters on August 7 and do battle with G.I. Joe and after watching this... I really think G.I. Joe has a shot a beating this one cause man this looks like a sequel to The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl . Man this looks bad, but heck that's just me, for all I know it could be good. Robert Rodriguez finally made another movie. After his half of Grindhouse, Planet Terror came out, we were given multiple ideas of what Rodriguez would be doing next after Shorts came to the screen. Finally the word came down that it will be Nerveracker, a story about a future society, which had me thinking pretty thoughts, since I’m a Rodriguez fan. But, when I say “fan,” I mean I saw Spy Kids 3D not that I am wholly in support of Robert’s child’s play fare.
