Monsters vs. Aliens Movie Trailer
/Film —
Dreamworks Animation has released the official trailer for Monsters vs. Aliens I had an opportunity to see ten minutes of this film in 3D before Comic-Con, and while I’m not entirely sold on the characters, I will tell you that the 3D in this film is the best I’ve ever seen in a computer animated feature. It’s the first movie to be completely developed for 3D, instead of just converted to 3D in a post production process. Its something that needs to be experienced to be believed. Check out the trailer below, and tell me what you think in the comments. ...

Get The Big Picture —
As much as we love Pixar movies, DreamWorks has really
started to gain ground on their rival. The Shrek movies make up one of
the biggest trilogies ever, even if we've seen diminishing returns each time.

Monsters Vs. Aliens Trailer

Today brings us the first trailer for Monsters Vs. Aliens, and animated film engineered to be shown in Tru3-D from Day One, as opposed being made into a 3-D film after the flick is in the can. You can look for us in line when Monster Vs. Aliens hits on March 27th, 2009, because good 3-D is nothing to wag one’s finger at. Even if it’s a wag prone finger, like ours.
Not to mention the amazing voice cast made up of some of our favorites…and Reese Witherspoon…

Monsters Vs Aliens - Trailer
Movie Moron —
Kids’ 3-D animations aren’t usually of much note, but the Monster Vs Aliens trailer is worth your time… if you have any fondness for the great monster B-Movies of the 50s.
In fact Monsters Vs Aliens has taken up ground almost exactly half way between Monsters Inc and Mars Attacks, but that’s no bad place to be. The fairly impressive voice cast includes Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Kiefer Sutherland, Paul Rudd, and Stephen Colbert.
And yes, that is Seth Rogen ...

Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news. —
Merrick here... Honestly, I haven't been following this film too closely...although I hear the IMAX guys are pretty happy with what they've seen so far (it'll hit IMAX 3-D screens alongside its regular release). I believe this trailer (or a version much like it) may've actually leaked a while back, but was quickly banished from the Internets. It's back again...better quality this time...and attached to MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA if I'm not mistaken. Here's an embed, via TRAILER ADDICT .
New ‘Monsters vs. Aliens’ Trailer Spoofs Sci-fi Panic
Film School Rejects —
A while back, we introduced you to the characters of Dreamworks’ forthcoming film, Monsters vs. Aliens, an animated feature where the government is forced to turn to monsters to defeat a race of invading aliens. The premise is cool enough and the cast is heavy on humor: Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Paul Rudd, Hugh Laurie, Reese Witherspoon, Rainn Wilson, and the added bad ass touch of Kiefer Sutherland. Oh, and the mix of bad ass and jokester that is Stephen T. Colbert.
Now, the new trailer for the 1960s sci-fi spoof is online and looking for laughs: ...
See Monsters vs. Aliens Trailer Three Days Early
The Vault of Horror —
First of all, how could you not automatically love a movie that's called Monsters vs. Aliens? I'm not usually a big fan of Dreamworks' animated films, but this one, at least from the trailer, looks like it may be nearly as ingenious and funny as anything Pixar has put out there. I can honestly say I laughed out loud, a couple of times. The trailer will be running in theaters along with Madagascar: Back to Africa starting this weekend. But you can have a look for yourselves right now, courtesy of TrailerAddict: ...
