Ghostbusters 2009 Game Trailer
The Movie Blog —
With news of a Ghostbusters sequel in the works, it is great to be able to look back at what came before to mentally prepare us for cinematic gold, or utter failure. We have to have a measuring stick on the franchise, and what better way to haul us into nostalgic bliss than with a platform video game with the original voice actors!
The animation looks great for the ghosts, and a little detatched for the guys. Granted, the voice acting pulls those laces tight again and it looks like they can pull it off. No word on gameplay, but if anything this makes me want to get the guys to pull on their proton packs for another film. Rumour has ...
The “Ghostbusters” Video Game Trailer Just Made My Day
Hollywoodtuna —
Alright, so I know it’s not exactly “movie news”, but this still might be our story of the week: the Ghostbusters: The Video Game trailer has just been released, featuring the original cast (yes, including the notoriously reticent Bill Murray) reunited for an original story. Even better? If this thing sells as well as I think it will, our chances of seeing a third live-action movie go way, way up. Honestly, it’s a win-win.

Last night, Dave was up much later than he should have been watching 17 minutes of “The Angry Video Game Nerd” reviewing the original Ghostbusters video game for the NES. Remember that piece of crap that neglected to tell you it was nearly unbeatable without a Game Genie? Because that crap was Activision squeezing all the money they could off a popular 80s franchise.
That damn game made us so paranoid of Ghostbusters video games that we missed out on The Real Ghostbusters arcade game, Ghostbusters II, New Ghostbusters 2, Ghostbusters for Sega, Extreme Ghostbusters, Extreme Ghostbusters: Code Ecto-1, Extreme Ghostbusters: The ...
New Ghostbusters: The Video Game Trailer
Film Junk —
Although there were some questions about the future of the upcoming Ghostbusters video game when it lost its publisher back in July, Atari has now taken over the project and announced an estimated release date of June 2009. What’s more, they’ve also put out a brand new trailer for the game that features some cut scenes of the characters in action, complete with voice talent of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. Whether or not the gameplay will be solid, I’m not sure, but adding these voices certainly makes all the difference in the world. I just hope the game doesn’t set up unfair ...
Ghostbusters Game Demonstrated. Clip of the Day

The highly anticipated new Ghostbusters game has finally been given a release date: June 2009. That may not be specific enough for you, especially since it was originally supposed to come out this fall, but as Karina previously reported, Atari has decided to coincide its release with the original film’s 25th anniversary. To ease your impatience, though, there’s an awesome new trailer for the video game (view it on YouTube), in which you can hear some of the new vocal performances from Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.
I can’t stand video games, but even I’m looking forward to playing ...
Get Out Your Proton Packs, Ghostbusters Goodness is Here
Film School Rejects —
Anyone who follows me on Twitter can easily see that I am a mega-huge fan of Ghostbusters. As a child I was the proud owner of my own proton pack, my own Fire House play set from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon and the kid who pushed an old lady out of the way at the local 4th of July parade once just to get a look at the real Ecto 1. On top of that I went to school on Halloween as the Stay Puft marshmallow man three years in row. Three years, people. If that isn’t an insane commitment to a brand I don’t know what is. And to have such loyalty at such a young age (11th grade) is really saying ...

Kick Ass Ghostbusters Video Game Trailer By George 'El Guapo' Roush on December 8, 2008 [image] This is pretty cool, I know Atari missed their planned October street date for this game, but it's worth the wait as long as the final product will be good. And judging from this trailer, it looks like it will be. Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson return for this exciting video game that should be available for all the systems. The script was written by Akroyd and Ramis. Check it out below! Source: You Tube Submit Your Comments ...
