Friday The 13th Footage From Scream Awards By Kellvin Chavez on October 22, 2008 [image] Spike has added the Scream Awards footage for WB's upcoming retelling of the classic horror series "Friday the 13th" starring Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, and Amanda Righetti. The footage is basically the same that was shown at this years Comic Con. The film is due out February 13th 2009. A group of young adults discover a boarded up Camp Crystal Lake, where they soon encounter Jason Voorhees (Mears) and his deadly intentions. Check out the the footage below. At the Spike TV 2008 Scream Awards, a few exclusive trailers and world premiers were offered up to its lucky viewers. Among those were Watchmen, Friday the 13th and Twilight.

The remake of “Friday the 13th” is coming to theaters on — of course! — Friday, Feb. 13, 2009. This retelling of the story heads back to summer camp, where a mysterious killer is systematically slaughtering the teenage camp counselors.
