Up Trailer
FilmWad —
New Trailer just released for Pixar's Up. Starring Ed Asner as the voice of Carl Fredricksen. Trailer looks good and there is nothing better than a grumpy 70 yr old man animated adventure, right? In this "coming of old age" story, a seventysomething hero, alongside his clueless wilderness ranger sidekick, travels the globe, fighting beasts and villains, and eating dinner at 3:30 in the afternoon.

The first trailer for Disney Pixar’s Up is now online, courtesy of Trailer Addict. Up is co-directed by Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc.) and Bob Peterson and features the voices of Ed Asner, Christopher Plummer, Delroy Lindo and John Ratzenberger.
Carl Fredricksen (Asner) spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate, and a persistent 8-year old Wilderness Explorer named Russell, gives him a new lease on life.

Trailer - Pixar's Latest, 'Up'
Get The Big Picture —
Pixar's next offering will be
Up,
a "coming of old age story" with a retired hero (Edward
Asner), who somehow or other fights bad guys around the world in his
house, which is transported by tons of balloons.
I like the premise, although I haven't seen enough to
really know where it's going. Right now, we're just at the flying house part.
But Pixar has always done good things with old characters - remember Jan
Pinkava's classic short,
Geri's Game - and they're Pixar, so you have to
give ...

Trailer: Pixar's Up
Cinema Blend News —
Trailer: Pixar's Up Remember the first trailer for Wall-E , which took us through a lunch that the Pixar head honchos had way back in the day, and told us the lovable robot was one of the first characters they thought up? Pixar did a great job with that trailer of reminding us of all that magic they've brought us so far, and the promise that they would bring it again, and of course the movie delivered. Now they're trying the same trick again with the first trailer for Up , which is half a Pixar retrospective, and half a look at the actual movie we'll see next summer. In the trailer, originally posted by Trailer ...

Pixar’s Up - Teaser Trailer
Movie Moron —
One could argue that Pixar are running out of plot ideas - “Pensioner straps balloons to his house and floats off.” But it just means they have to work harder, and you can’t argue with their 100% batting average. They could show a rotating 3-D turd in the trailer for 3 minutes and you’d give it a pass, “Hey, it’s Pixar, they’ll pull off something special”.
That said, nothing wrong with this Up movie trailer. Not one rotating turd.
As all the characters appear to be human, it’s fair to say The Incredibles is its closest cousin in the ...

Hey folks, Harry here... Aren't you curious as hell about where this film is going? In some ways it feels like the most Miyazaki of all PIXAR films from what we've seen thus far, but the narration's insistence that he'll be exploring a lost world... What's UP? Personally, I can't wait to find out!

Pixar’s Up trailer second look
Reel Suave —
Disney has released another trailer for Pixar’s Up. The first third again attempts to sell the film based on the animation studios past achievements. People at Disney are still not sure how to sell a movie like this. I love the fantastical imagery and bright colors. The character of the grumpy old Carl Fredricksen has been grown on us the more and more we see him.
The film is directed by Academy Award nominated team of director Pete Docter and co director Bob Peterson. Up is said to be a comedy adventure taking off and lifting spirits in summer 2009.
