Four Kick-Ass Set Videos Online

Four videos from the shooting of the Matthew Vaughn-directed Kick-Ass in Toronto have turned up online. The clips feature Aaron Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse sitting in a car dressed as superheroes. You can hear Vaughn's voice throughout the videos (the one with the British accent). The last video features a helicopter with a camera taking shots for the film. Written by Mark Millar and drawn by John Romita Jr., the Marvel Comics' Icon imprint book centers on a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination. A bunch of new Kick-Ass set videos have popped up on YouTube, giving us our first real look at the characters dressed in superhero gear. The scene involved Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) and the Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) riding along in Mist’s custom red sports car through Downtown Toronto (near the Toronto Eaton Centre) at night. I’ve included the most interesting/revealing video of the bunch below. And by revealing, I mean only slightly.

The movie adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic book series Kick-Ass is currently filming in Toronto, where an intrepid videographer managed to get some good videos of Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass/Dave Lizewski) and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (formally McLovin, now Red Mist) driving along in Red Mist’s custom sports car, complete with logo.

There has been all sorts of hustlin’ and bustlin’ on the set of Stardust director Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass, which is currently shooting in Toronto. Based on the comic series by Wanted creator Mark Millar, Kick-Ass follows a high school dweeb named Dave Lizewski who decides to become a superhero even though he has no athletic ability or coordination.
