Japanese Dragonball Movie Trailer Looks Ridiculous
/Film —
The Japanese movie trailer for Fox’s big screen live-action adaptation of Dragonball has hit the interwebs. Remember how cool that new Terminator Salvation trailer was? Well this is quite the opposite. Goofy looking characters, cliched action sequences and laughable dialogue. But honestly, what did you expect? ...

A Japanese trailer for Fox’s Dragonball has popped online, though, it might not be here for long. The adaptation of the popular manga opens April 8 and stars Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Emmy Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim, Ernie Hudson and Chow Yun-Fat.
Dragonball is adapted from the manga created by Akira Toriyama; the work was also turned into a Japanese anime series that played all over the world. It tells the story of an alien sent to destroy Earth, who has a change of heart and decides to join the humans in their fight against various aliens and bad guys. ...

Dragonball Evolution Evolved From…?
TheBadandUgly.com —
Ladies and gentleman, the Dragonball trailer has hit the internets and with it comes a nifty little subtitle: “Evolution.”
From what we could garner from Wikipedia, as our interest in providing backstory to accompany a trailer that jettisons good taste slowly waned, the original mystical Dragonballs granted wishes. The completely schizophrenic trailer, however, looks like the product of a middle school student who was a big fan of 1995’s Paul W.S. Anderson Mortal Kombat movie adaptation.
The lines are done horribly, the CGI has no mass or weight, the things screams B movie. Yet, this is to be the evolution of the ...
Japanese Dragonball Evolution Trailer Looks Amazingly Terrible
Film Junk —
At this point I don’t think I need to go into the whole backstory for Fox’s upcoming live action Dragonball movie… suffice it to say, Fox has been slow to show any real footage from this thing, and fans are clearly starting to get suspicious. Add this to the fact that they’ve recently decided to go with the ass-tastic new title Dragonball Evolution, and everyone knows this thing is a disaster waiting to happen.
Well, the new Japanese trailer for the film finally confirms our suspicions by showcasing some of the most ridiculous action scenes I’ve seen in a long time. And what’s up with the guns? ...
So, How Bad Is “Dragonball Evolution” Going To Be?
Hollywoodtuna —
You just know the new trailer for Dragonball Evolution is bad when I can hardly work up the effort to make some snarky comment about it… The only question now is whether the movie’ll be “fun awful” or just “awful awful”. After this I’m betting on the latter, how about you?

New ‘Dragonball Evolution’ Trailer Worse Than The Last One
Screen Rant —
Back in October, I wrote a little piece on the leaked trailer for Dragonball (now re-named Dragonball Evolution) and in it I basically talked about how terrible the teaser looked. I was clearly not the only one who thought this and after 91 comments and some feuding, Screen Rant Master Vic had to shut down the thread to simmer things down. ...

I'd have to call the span "tempestuous." To Steal a Headline from Geek Magazine - 2008 "The Worse Year Ever" If you follow anime, you're doubtlessly familiar with a narrative that relates; while North American interest in anime is as healthy as it's ever been, the commercial side of the equation has been suffering.
