So the world is mostly vampires, and everyone that’s still human is hunted down with regular ease and hung out to dry – being kept alive enough to pump out that sweet, sweet blood that vampires crave. Unfortunately, most of the vampires are in business suits and apparently there’s a food shortage on the horizon that one Vampire Doctor (I’ll go ahead and resist the urge to call him Dr. Acula) has to try to solve by creating a blood synthetic – or working with the humans for something else entirely.

Hey folks, Harry here ... in seeking distractions from the onslaught of assholiness regarding recent passings - I found the new trailer for DAYBREAKERS - the new film from the Spierig Brothers. They're responsible for the wonderful no budget first film, UNDEAD - and the result is pretty spectacular looking. At some levels it looks a bit LOGAN'S RUN, NEAR DARK and something entirely new. And all of that makes me very happy. This has been a long way coming, because they were given a lot of time to slowly work on the effects, to keep the budget down, while delivering a lot. ... have a serious abundance of Vampire movies coming out.... The next on the list is called Daybreakers starring Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill, Isabel Lucas, and Mungo McKay. The difference with this Vampire movie is that the Vampire don't actually want to hurt the human race but their supplies of blood are running out and they may have no choice. It's us, or them!
