New To Theatres This Weekend: Bride Wars, The Unborn, Not Easily Broken
Film Junk — The New Year is getting off to a pretty slow start with only two major releases in theatres weekend: Bride Wars starring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson, and David S. Goyer’s The Unborn. Scene-Stealers — Clint Eastwood’s “Gran Torino” plays like some sort of R-rated Hallmark made-for-TV movie where the lead character, a horribly racist Korean War veteran named Walt Kowalski, finally learns firsthand that people are people everywhere, no matter what their background, and that racism is bad.
