McG wants Smith for Nemo
Filmstalker — McG.jpg Earlier this month , we heard that McG was to remake Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Not a straight remake though, it's an origin story of Captain Nemo, which comes before the story we know of already. McG has given the name of the actor he would love to play Captain Nemo. It's only Will Smith. Post Terminator Salvation , McG is going for a more family orientated effort. His remake of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, will tell the origin story of Captain Nemo and his ship the Nautilus. He's not hanging around in naming who he wants to star though, on Latino Review through Coming Soon ...
