Clint Eastwood Sings The 'Gran Torino' Theme Song, No Really
:: The Playlist :: —
... just par for the course on his movies. Well, now he sings and he kind of sounds like a warbling toad that was once Tom Waits. It's kind of hilarious to hear. We're not sure who the other voice is (sounds vaguely Bono-ish), but the song is written by Eastwood, Jamie Cullen, Kyle Eastwood and Michael Stevens (we're pretty sure it's the cult teen keyboard idol Jamie Cullen). The song is the last track on the WB site, presumably that means it plays in the closing credits. Our ...

It really works in context, and Jamie Cullum's vocals really give it wings later on. Maybe it's just my love for the film that made me reconsider how I felt about it. It's got that kind of smooth, jazz club vibe to it that I really like, and when you add that to just how much I really love this film, and it's ...
