... not expect. It’s a nice little way of connecting Dug and Carl’s story going back to the "Hi, My Name is Dug" scene. Ronnie del Carmen‘s directorial debut runs at 4 minutes and 40 seconds: very short, but very sweet.

Ronnie del Carmen On "Special Mission"

... Del Carmen explains that the Special Mission is told in Dug’s distorted memory of the moments leading up to his meeting of Carl and Russell. "Dug has such a fragmented attention span that his continuity is likely not very spot on." Among other things, Ronnie talks about why Dug got his own short and when the idea was conceived!

What we know so far is that he’s been working on the concept for a few weeks in between the Up publicity tour. No title or plot has been announced at the moment, but the interview is a great read and there’s much more to enjoy.
For the time being we can appreciate Pete Docter’s current classics, Up and Monsters, Inc., on Blu-ray and DVD ...
