[image] I am – Hercules!! Tom Hanks needs to get back in space! The actor is developing a movie based on Mattel’s satellite-dwelling astronaut action figure Major Matt Mason. It’s with Universal, the same studio that launched the “Toy Story” star into “Apollo 13.” “Mission To Mars” screenwriter Graham Yost, who collaborated with Hanks on “From The Earth To The Moon,” kicks in the screenplay. If the Lightyear-esque doll doesn’t ring a bell, it’s because Mattel stopped manufacturing Matt in the 1970s. Sounds more fun than another sequel to “The DaVinci Code,” am I right?
