Updated ‘Three Stooges’ Film Finally Happening
We Are Movie Geeks — ... somewhat interesting, is made up of four 20-minute shorts.  However, I’m sure there will be a running story throughout the entire picture. MGM has targeted November 20, 2009, for a pre-Thanksgiving release. Just for the record, this is a terrible idea.  Just the thought of someone emulating Moe, Larry and Curly gives me d’chills.  However, if anyone can make it work, I’d have to hand it to the Farrelly’s to give it its best go. The Screening Log — MGM is currently trying to acquire a Three Stooges project from Warner Bros. for Peter and Bobby Farrelly to direct. According to THR, the studio is planning to develop the “The Three Stooges” as soon as possible, eyeing a Nov. 20, 2009 release.
