A while back there was a rumor that Alexander Skarsgard had a good shot at landing the lead role in the big screen version of the comic book “Thor.” The part eventually went to Chris Hemsworth, though, and sadly, it seemed as if the film was going to proceed without an actor who sports an awesomely Norse name.
