We Are Movie Geeks — ‘Star Trek’ opened last nigh on most of its 3,800 theaters at 7pm and pulled in roughly $7 million, which is pretty damn impressive. So that means word of mouth, 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, is starting to spread all of the world and EVERYONE will be rushing out to see it tonight, I could easily see a $40-45 million Friday night, because the film is that good. What are you waiting for? Go out and get your tickets for tonight or else it will be sold out across the country. The movie geeks have spoken. Thanks to Variety for the heads up. ...
