MAN ON WIRE Takes Best Doc, BASHIR Best Foreign at the British Indie Film Awards
All these wonderful things —
James Marsh's MAN ON WIRE and Ari Forman's WALTZ WITH BASHIR continued their march to the Kodak Theatre by picking up the British Independent Film Award for Best Documentary and Best Foreign Film (h/t Sasha Stone ). While MAN ON WIRE is the early frontrunner for the Feature Documentary Oscar, BASHIR was not eligible in that category - although it is eligible for Best Foreign Language Film and Best Animated Film.
