Hollywood Elsewhere — Snoresville We're all disappointed, I think, that the Producers Guild of America choose their Best Picture nominees from the exact middle of the pack -- Milk, Slumdog Millionaire, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Dark Knight and Frost/Nixon . They didn't even have the balls to nominate WALL*E . Buncha timid consensus pussies. The winner will be announced on 1.24.

Cinematical — ... But the more immediate question is whether The Dark Knight will even be nominated for the Oscar. The other four PGA nominees are likely Oscar candidates; it's The Dark Knight that's had the big ol' question mark next to it in people's guesses and predictions.
