McG To Direct Disney’s 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA Remake!! I am – Hercules!! Captain Nemo, unbowed by his adventures with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, is a solo act again. McG (“Terminator: Salvation”) will direct Disney’s remake of “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” from a screenplay by Bill Marsilii (“Déjà vu”). Disney has signed McG to direct 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo for $8 million against 7% of the gross according to Variety. I’m convinced that McG has the talent to make a visually stunning film, which is what Nemo needs to be.
