Hollywood Elsewhere — Ansen Calling LAFF Shots Longtime Newsweek film critic David Ansen has joined Film Independent as artistic director of the organization's 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival , it was announced an hour or so ago. Senior programmer Doug Jones has also been promoted to associate director of programming. The festival will run from 6.17 through 6.27.
