Actor/writer/director Justin Theroux is set produce the comedy "Air Guitar" for Paramount Pictures says Risky Business.
The story set in the world of air-guitar competitions and featuring the colorful characters who participate in them.
Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger will write while Barry Josephson will also produce. Theroux will not direct or act in the feature.

... as well as the book “To Air Is Human,” AIR GUITAR is likely to be a comedy in the realm of DODGEBALL and other affiliated films of the genre. I imagine that we can expect to see the usual cast of characters in AIR GUITAR and considering that Theroux wrote TROPIC THUNDER, this does not seem to unlikely.
Theroux most recently wrote the script for IRON MAN 2 and is starring in David Gordon Green’s latest film YOUR HIGHNESS, co-written by Danny McBride.
