Josh Brolin opted out of Terminator Salvation and recently had this to say about the matter to the good folks over at MTV:
“Yeah. I talked to Christian [Bale] for a couple hours,” he said. “I really liked the script though I hear that’s not what they filmed. The one I read was very interesting and dark. Ultimately though I didn’t think it felt right.”

I also can’t help but think Brolin made the right decision. Granted, Salvation looks great so far. But he frankly doesn’t need a franchise at this point with the recent slate of films he’s been associated with!
