... appears to have the storyline and grit of a more serious movie. I'd vote campy for this. But you can't go half-campy, so we'll see if they've made the right decision here or not.
I believe it's generally accepted that Kristin Kreuk isn't the next Cate Blanchett, so I wonder if she'll be able to carry the drama and action. Again, if it didn't appear to take itself seriously, that wouldn't be a problem.

And oh man, that dreadful voiceover narration doesn’t help matters. Why do they insist on using that type of voiceover in the trailers for these types of films? It rarely makes it more exciting or look any better, and the use of it here is some of the worst I’ve ever heard.
