... (via Jeff Wells) has our first look as Serkis onstage as Dury. There's very little new information here though other than the fact the film was directed by BAFTA-nominee, Mat Whitecross (the director of "The Road to Guantanamo," and an editor on the excellent rock doc "Scott Walker: 30 Century Man") and the screenplay was penned by Paul Viragh. Apparently this one is in the can and in post-production. So we'll likely see it next year, but hopefully it doesn't disappear like another U.K. esoteric rock figure biopic ...
