The folks over at HissTank.com have posted a first look at the M.A.R.S. Troopers in director Stephen Sommers’ G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. These masked troops are said to operate with ’supreme skill and extreme force.’ As a non-fan of the G.I. Joe universe, I can’t really go into much detail beyond that. I still have no idea if this is going to be great or terrible, but the fact that it opens this August and we haven’t seen ANY footage from the film sounds like a bad sign.

Joe knowledge is spotty at best, so here I was thinking most of the characters looked liked people, running around in fatigues-- you know, like actual soldiers.
