Cinema Blend News —
Early Draft Of Beverly Hills Cop 4 Revealed There's a good number of troubling details in Latino Review 's story on Beverly Hills Cop IV . I mean, first there's the mere existence of the movie, which we've at least had some time to process by now. But then they get into the details of an early script, which one of their scoopers somehow got his or her hands on, and the general description is "it's almost like the writers took an Arnold Schwarzenegger script they had lying around and changed the details to make it a Beverly Hills Cop movie." Huh?? And the final piece of bad ...

... Murphy himself told MTV: “All I know is that it’s gonna be something that’s special. I’m not doing just, hey give me some big check and I go off [does the Foley laugh] and shoot the gun and jump over cars. Like, that’s some bullsh-t. If I do it, it’s gonna be some sh-t that’s right!”
Thing is, it looks like they didn’t give Axel any cool shit to do, and maybe that’s why the script is held up, waiting for Murphy to come around…

... of a PG-13 film, not quite what you'd expect from one of those films. Now Latino Review have the story details for the latest installment. And it turns out Murphy is not impressed with it just yet. The main story details go something like this: Judge Reinhold's Billy Rosewood takes a leap out the 20th story of the Los Angeles Police HQ. When Axel hears that his former partner and best buddy became sidewalk salad he knows it wasn't a suicide and he flies to Beverly Hills to get all the facts for himself. He also has himself a new partner when he gets out there. That new ...

Details on Beverly Hills Cop 4 — We Know You Need ‘Em
Film School Rejects —
Eddie Murphy is an enigma. It would seem that he had turned a corner dramatically with a powerful and Academy Award-nominated turn in Dreamgirls. After years of crap sequels, uninspired action-comedy pictures (like Showtime or I Spy), and high-profile, big-budget atrocities (like The Adventures of Pluto Nash) it looked as if the man would be a little more choosey. A quick look at his IMDb says a completely different story. He currently has five films in some form of production and none of them seem interesting. There was rumor of a new Nutty Professor installment, as well.
What brings ...
