Super producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently spoke with Coming Soon and gave a brief update on the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean 4. He says Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio are currently writing the flick and that they’re finalizing the story and plotlines.
He also says they’re aiming for a release date sometime in 2012 and that he’d like to follow in the footsteps of The Dark Knight and shoot some of Pirates 4 in IMAX.
