... honestly one of the best films of the year, has deservedly won five awards at the ’09 European Film Awards, including best picture, best director, best screenplay, best cinematography and best actor for Toni Servillo (who earned the award for “Gomorrah” and “Il Divo”). Kristin Scott Thomas won best actress for “I’ve Loved You So Long,” which I am still dying to see, while Steve McQueen’s superlative “Hunger” took home the European Discovery award.
