Press Gets 45 Minutes of Up... and Loves It!

The press was treated to an early look at Up with 45 minutes introduced by director Pete Docter and producer Jonas Rivera. The press’ reaction? Yet another hit from Pixar! Although they say the style is completely different than that of WALL•E and Ratatouille for example, it’s still another great story. It’s defnitely magical and tear jerking but wackier than most of Pixar’s movies (and that’s saying something!) Here are a few stats Cinematical shared:

Even though we are not wandering the halls of the New York Comic-Con event happening this weekend, we do have a lot of friends and neighbors who are covering the event. Disney Previews Surrogates at Comic-Con

Disney Pictures attended the New York Comic-Con on Saturday to show off a couple of their upcoming movies. We already gave a preview of Pixar Animation's next movie Up yesterday--you can read that here --but after showing some clips from that movie, the remainder of Disney's presentation was dedicated to Touchstone Pictures' Surrogates , an adaptation of the graphic novel, directed by Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines director Jonathan Mostow. The graphic novel by Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele was published by Top Shelf in 2005. The story takes place in 2054 where people use artificial bodies or ...
